Perfect Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
PERFECT TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Serving Size: depends on your cookie size!
8 tablespoons of salted butter
1/2 cup raw cane or coconut sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 egg
1.5 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon + 1 extra pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
1/2 cup of salted caramel chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Melt butter and add to sugar in a large mixing bowl. Use a standing mixer or hand mixer to cream the sugar and butter together until fluffy (about 3-5 solid minutes)
4. Gently add the egg and vanilla and combine on low speed (about 10 seconds). Don’t over beat.
5. In a separate bowl combine the dry ingredients and whisk together. Gently add in portions of this dry mix to the wet mixture and to combine. Use a low speed or combine using a spatula.
6. Once everything is combined, stir in the chocolate chips.
7. Use an ice cream scoop to portion out the cookies onto the parchment lined baking sheet. Gently press on the ball of dough (do not completely flatten). Leave about 2 inches space between each cookie.
8. Bake for 8-11 minutes or until cookies are puffy and the bottom is a light gold colour.
9. Allow them to cool for about 10-15 minutes, then devour!
Pearing Suggestion: Sub the chocolate chips for anything you like, such as coconut flakes, butterscotch chips, or even sprinkles!
